TIPS: Release-liste maj 2021

At streaming-krigen mellem de internationale giganter er intensiveret det sidste års tid, er der ingen tvivl om. Det kommer os forbrugere til gode i form af et stadig større udvalg af kvalitetsfilm og -serier.

Med den vedvarende coronapandemi og deraf følgende biograflukning er det stadig TV-skærmen, vi skal henvende os til for at blive underholdt (dog kun lidt endnu i Danmark). Og i maj er det bare at fylde lagrene af snacks og øl – og forberede dig på liggesår. For nu kan du tilbringe mange timer foran flimmerkassen!

I maj lanceres rekordmange titler på de største tjenester, hele 313 (!) nye (og gamle) film og serier kan du nyde foran storskærmen de næste fire forårsuger. Når det er sagt, så lanceres der også en masse gammelt hø.

Der er dog nogle rigtige godbidder imellem maj måneds releases, såsom Emma Stone i Cruella på Disney+, den norske komedie Pørni på Viaplay, Anna Kendrick i romantisk stemning i Love Life på HBO Nordic og den franske gyser Oxygen på Netflix, ligesom Star Wars-fans (forhåbentlig) vil få deres tørst slukket med The Bad Batch på Disney+.

Måske kan Alec Baldwin overraske med Chick Fight på Amazon Prime? Vi tvivler. Så er vi langt mere positivt stemt over for The Underground Railroad på samme streaming-tjeneste, og Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet på Apple TV+ vil måske falde i gaming-fansenes smag.

Den “nye” Paramount+ har en særdeles tyndt belagt smørrebrødsseddel i maj, måske med undtagelse af 2. sæson af The Hills: New Beginnings.

Netflix lokker bl.a. med superhelteserien Jupiter’s Legacy med Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels og Leslie Bibb i hovedrollerne.

Gå heller ikke glip af afslutningen af ​​Mare of Easttown på HBO med Kate Winslet i en af ​​hendes stærkeste roller.
