And the Oscar goes to …Scandinavia?

"The Revenant" og "The Martian" tophitter i årets Oscar-nomineringer, men flere gik også til Skandinavien.

And the Oscar goes to …Scandinavia?

I går blev årets nominerede til den 88. Academy Awards (Oscar) annonceret, og det lægger op til, at “The Revenant” (med hele 12 (!) nomineringer) og “The Martian” (med syv) kommer til at rydde bordet.

“The Revenant” er instrueret af Alejandro G. Iñárritu. Iñárritu var også instruktør på sidste års Oscar-vinder i kategorien “Årets bedste film”, “Birdman”, i tillæg til, at filmen vandt prisene for bedste instruktion, manuskript og filmning.

I hovedrollen i “The Revenant” finder vi en intens Leonardo DiCaprio. Med sin fjerde Oscar-nominering bliver det højst sandsynligt denne gang, DiCaprio endelig går hjem med en pris.

Henter Matt Damon hjem sin anden Oscar-statuette for hovedrollen i “The Martian?

Blockbusteren “The Martian” (instruktion: Ridley Scott) er nomineret til syv priser, blandt andet for “Årets beste film”, bedste mandlige hovedrolle (Matt Damon), bedste adapterede manus, samt en række tekniske priser.For øvrigt noterer vi os, at “Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens” er nomineret til fem priser, herunder klipning, instruktion og tre tekniske priser.

Da støvet havde lagt sig efter, at de nominerde var annonceret, kunne vi tælle os frem til mange anerkendende nik til os skandinaver. Den mest fremtrædende gik til særdeles dygtige Alicia Vikander, for den kvindelige birolle i “The Danish Girl”. Svenske Vikander imponerede os stort i fjor i “Ex Machina”».

En af nomineringerne for bedste makeup gik til den svenske film “Den hundredårige, der klatrede ud af vinduet og forsvant”, med Robert Gustafsson i hovedrollen som den sprængfarlige 100-årige.

“The Look of Silence”, dansk/norsk koproduktion.

Den dansk/norske dokumentar “The Look of Silence” er også nomineret i dokumentarfilmkategorien.

Mere hæder og ære gik til Danmark med en nominering af Tobias Lindholms “Krigen” i den vigtige kategori for bedste fremmedsprogede film.

Årets Oscar-show løber af stabelen i Los Angeles den 28. februar.
